who is an Indonesianpoet

that allowed common people to understand it. Furthermore, in this poem,
SapardiDjokoDamono wants to convey immortality is not thwarted by death. He

1.
The Theme of the poem
Theme is basically an
idea which is talked about in any piece of writing. This poem had the theme
about loyality. Loyality to you, that can mean the reader, even though “I” do
not exist in this poem, but he want the readers will always remind him.
2.
The Emotion of The Poem
Poetry
often begins with emotion and finishes with profound insights about human
nature.
In
this poem, according to Marta Savina in her paper about "Poetry
Analysis" she said that, After I read a poem entitled
"PadaSuatuHari" I got a new experience because from the poem I can
take lessons, that when we are living in this world we must be useful to
others. So that, even though we have died, our services and our figures will
still be remembered.
She
interpreted that, "In our lives we must do good to others, and also in our
life we can give some benefit to others, when we died, we will be remembered in
other mind, whether it is in terms of our good."
In
my opinion, in this poem, Sapardi Djoko Damono expressed his feelings with
feelings of sadness. Because One Day Later, the figure "I" in this
poem will leave "You" forever in the sense of dying. But on the other
hand, the figure "I" will feel happy, even though his body and body
are gone, he will always be remembered by the figure of "You" through
the lyrics of the poem he made.
3.
The diction of The Poem
It
was translated from Fajahono, 1990: 59, he said that diction is the selection
of the right words, dense and rich in nuances of meaning and atmosphere, so
that they are able to develop and influence the reader's imagination.
The
diction used in this poem is quite easy for readers to understand it. As an
example, “Padasuatuharinanti”, common
readers get the meaning that something will happens in the future. Another
example “Jasadkutak aka nada lagi”,
SapardiDjokoDamono chosen a word which has a clear meaning, the figure “I” in
the poem, someday will not exist in this world. The diction used by the poet is
actual meaning of the word.
4.
The imagery of The Poem
Imagery
is the name given to the elements in a poem that spark off the senses. Despite
"image" being a synonym for "picture", images need not be
only visual; any of the five senses (sight, hearing, touch, taste, smell) can
respond to what a poet writes (Poetryarchieve.org).
In
this poem, there are three imagery such as:
1. Imagery of the sight:
Jasadkutakakanadalagi
Tapidalam
bait-bait sajakini
Tapi di
antaralarik-lariksajakini
Impianku
pun takdikenallagi
Namun di
sela-selahurufsajakini

2. Imagery of the hearing: Suarakutakterdengarlagi
3. Imagery of feel: Kautakkankurelakansendiri
Kauakantetapkusiasati
5. The Poem’s Stanza by
Stanza Meanings and Review From Others
Review From Others
about “Pada Suatu Hari Nanti”, it was translated
from Anonym.AnalisisPuisiPadaSuatuHariNanti.
2015 (composhare.blogspot.com):
In the poetry of the
“PadaSuatuHariNanti” revealed eternity very simply from the first stanza to the
third stanza nothing has changed about the theme of eternity.
Padasuatuharinanti

Kautakkankurelakansendiri
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the first couplet)
Tapidalam bait-bait sajakini

(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the first couplet)
In the first line, the poem describe what will happen in the future. What happens in the future is described as "My body will no longer exist". This life is based on the word "my body" followed by the description "nothing more" which means something will never return. So, the 2nd line explains death.
In the 3rd and 4th lines it is explained that the author did not give up his life by reason of death (not self-destruction), so the author inserted his life into every “verse of the poem” that could be interpreted as a literary work.

Then
in the 3rd and 4th rows of the second verse,
Pada suatu hari nanti

(Pada Suatu Hari Nanti, the second couplet, the 3rd and 4th line)
kauakantetapkusiasati
(Pada Suatu Hari Nanti, the second couplet, the 3rd and 4th line)
In the second stanza it is
explained that life will not cease only because of death. "Padasuatuharinanti"
which states something that is still to come. In the second line "my voice
is not heard again" in this second stanza life is said with the word
"voice". Life here is more a sign of life in the form of emotions,
conscience, and anything that is mystical. "Inaudible" which means
the sound (of life) was no longer felt by the senses, which means death.

Impianku pun takdikenallagi

Kautakkanletih-letihnyakucari
(PadaSuatuHariNanti,the third couplet)
The first line is still the same,
"PadaSuatuHariNanti" explains what will happen in the future. In the
second line "my dream is no longer known" life here is symbolized by
the word "dream". That is to say the sign of life that is affirmed
here is in the form of desires, desires, ideals. In the "unknown"
verse, it means that humans without a dream are dead.
In the 3rd and 4th rows,
Padasuatuharinanti
Suarakutakterdengarlagi

Suarakutakterdengarlagi

Kautakkanletih-letihnyakucari
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the third couplet, the 3rd and 4th line)
Explain that although his dream
(life) was already unknown, but the writer still looks for it and tries to make
his life eternal in the "sidelines of poetry" which is a metaphor of
his works.
Conclusion:
The mandate or value of this poem is
that the poet wants to convey his loyalty to the reader even though he is no
longer available, the reader need not be sad. Because his remains will remind
with others be loyal and can still accompany the reader with his works.
Review From Others
about “PadaSuatuHariNanti”, it was translated
from Anonym.AnalisisPuisiPadaSuatuHariNanti.
2014 (contoh-analisis-puisi.blogspot.com):
HujanBulanJuni,
is the work of SapardiDjokoDamono, for 30 years ago SapardiDjokoDamono made it,
from 1964 to 1994. Among the famous poems in the HujanBulanJuni namely Lanskap, PadaSuatuHariNanti, ,DalamDiriku, Kita Saksikan, and
many more.
SapardiDjokoDamono
often received praise for his poems, but it was able to provide a broad
imagination and cause a different taste to the readers. As in the poem excerpt
below.
Akuinginmencintaimudengansederhana:
dengan kata yang takmampudiucapkan
dengan kata yang takmampudiucapkan
kayukepadaapi yang menjadikannyaabu
(AkuIngin, the first couplet)
SapardiDjokoDamono
only uses a simple analogy such as "kayukepadaapi yang menjadikannyaabu"
has a deep meaning that is a sincere love and willing to be treated anything
even if it has to make him sick.
The simplicity of the poem is not limited to words, it is also
found in several stanzas that are written clearly so that mapu can make
ordinary people understand. As in the following poetry below.
Akumencintaimu,
itusebabnyaakutakkanpernahselesaimendoakankeselamatanmu
(Di DalamDoaku, the sixth couplet)
SapardiDjokoDamono
in his poem PadaSuatuHariNantirevealed
the immortality very simply from the first stanza to the third stanza nothing
has changed about the theme of eternity that he wanted to express. Eternity
that was born because in every line of his poetry there is an emotional
attachment between the writer and his work, even though the writer has died,
but the author's emotions are still represented from each line of his poetry,
so as if we can still feel the author living in each line of his poetry.
Padasuatuharinanti
Jasadkutakakanadalagi
Tapidalam bait-bait sajakini
Kautakkankurelakansendiri
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the first couplet)
Tapidalam bait-bait sajakini
Kautakkankurelakansendiri
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the first couplet)
In
the first line, the same as the title of the poem, it is very clear that the
writer wants to explain something that will happen in the future. What happens
in the future is explained in the second line "Jasadkutakakanadalagi". The life of the writer is
fixed with the word "my body" and continued with the statement
"there will be no more" which we can clearly interpret as something
that will not return. So that the second line summary can be drawn explaining
the death of the author. A little explanation about the word "body"
earlier, "body" is associated with life associated with physical
activity, eg writing, reading, and so forth.
In
the third line "Tapidalam
bait-bait sajakini" the writer wants to give an exception or opposition to
his death, and start expressing his thoughts about eternity. And in the fourth
line "You will not sacrifice yourself" means that the writer did not
give up for himself is the word "body" earlier which is an
interpretation of life. So the conclusion can be drawn, the 3rd and 4th line of
the writer does not give up his life stopped only because of a death (will not
sacrifice myself), for that the writer tucked his life in every "verses of
poetry" which can be interpreted a literary work.
Padasuatuharinanti
Suarakutakterdengarlagi
Tapi di antaralarik-lariksajakini
Kauakantetapkusiasati
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the second couplet)
Suarakutakterdengarlagi
Tapi di antaralarik-lariksajakini
Kauakantetapkusiasati
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the second couplet)
Furthermore, in this second stanza
the writer emphasizes that his life will not cease only because of death. In
the first line of the second stanza is still the same as the first stanza that
is "Padasuatuharinanti"
which states something that is still to come. The difference starts to appear
in the 2nd to 4th row. In the second line "Suarakutakterdengarlagi"
life in the first stanza is said to be with the word "body", in this
second stanza life is said by the word "voice". Life here is more a
sign of life in the form of emotions, conscience, and anything that is
mystical. And continued with the explanation "inaudible" which means
the voice (life) was no longer felt by the senses, which means death.
Then in the 3rd and 4th rows of the
second verse,
Padasuatuharinanti
Suarakutakterdengarlagi
tapi di antaralarik-lariksajakini
kauakantetapkusiasati
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the second couplet, the 3rd and 4th line)
Suarakutakterdengarlagi
tapi di antaralarik-lariksajakini
kauakantetapkusiasati
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the second couplet, the 3rd and 4th line)
SapardiDjokoDamonoreiterates
the exception or opposition to the death, by putting his life in each
"rows of poetry" which is still a figure of speech from a literary
work so that his thinking about his opinion about eternity becomes stronger.
Then in the fourth line "kauakantetapkusiasati”
meaning that the writer will do anything so that his life (the conscience,
emotion of the writer) lives on in his works so that those who love him will
always feel the presence of the soul of the writer even though the writer is
gone.
Padasuatuharinanti
Impianku pun takdikenallagi
Namundisela-selahurufsajakini
Kautakkanletih-letihnyakucari
(PadaSuatuHariNanti,the third couplet)
Impianku pun takdikenallagi
Namundisela-selahurufsajakini
Kautakkanletih-letihnyakucari
(PadaSuatuHariNanti,the third couplet)
The
first line is still the same, "PadaSuatuHari" reaffirmation of what
will happen. Then proceed to the second line "Impianku pun takdikenallagi
" the life of the writer is symbolized by the word "dream". That
is, the sign of life that is affirmed here is in the form of desires, desires,
ideals, and anything related to the writer's life goals. Then proceed with the
explanation "unknown again", meaning that the life (dream) of the writer
no longer knows his dream.
Namundisela-selahurufsajakini
Kautakkanletih-letihnyakucari
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the third couple, the 3rd and 4th line)
Kautakkanletih-letihnyakucari
(PadaSuatuHariNanti, the third couple, the 3rd and 4th line)
"The
rows of poetry" which is still an allegory of a literary work until it is
increasingly strong that discusses his opinion about eternity. Then in the
fourth line "you will remain enthusiastic" means that the writer will
do everything so that his life (conscience, writer) lives on in his works until
the people who ask will be able to continue to find out what the writer, the
author later it's gone.
Humans
without a dream are tantamount to death, so the author temp the death in this
third stanza.
Besides his view of eternity earlier if
we look at the 3rd line of the poem, the poet shows unyielding
effort in doing something.
tapidalam bait-bait sajakini (bait ke-I, baris ke-3)
tapi di antaralarik-lariksajakini (bait ke-II, baris ke-3)
namundisela-selahurufsajakini (bait ke-III, baris ke-3)
Starting
from the stanzas, in a poem the scope is quite broad, when the writer likens
"putting" his life in a stanza this may not be too difficult. Then in
the second stanza the word array is used, the scope begins to be narrowed, but
the writer still tries to "put" his life in the array, and it is
implied that this is more difficult to do than in the first stanza, as the
explanation in the next line, "you will remain enthusiastic". And
finally, the unyielding spirit of the writer to remain eternal is very visible
when the writer "puts" his life on the sidelines of letters, which
likens something very difficult to do because in poetry, the sidelines of the
scope of the scope is very small.
Conclusion: It
can be concluded that eternity is real, despite death, we can make eternity
through beautiful works, or the goodness that can always be remembered by
people after us. In addition, if we study this poem from the perspective of
love, the writer also puts a message of loyalty in love, that is "the
person who loves us will always be there and makes us immortal in everyone who
loves even though we have died".But to get that immortality,
SapardiDjokoDamono advised that eternity was only obtained with struggle and
unyielding attitude. Because everything is not easy to achieve a dream or
ideals in the world of striving that will produce a work that can be remembered
for all time, the term Java says chess is longer than chess, that is attitude
or results are longer than our age.
6. The Poem’s Moral
Values
It
can be concluded from the two reviews above that the poem "PadaSuatuHariNanti"
reveals that eternity is real. SapardiDjokoDamono, as the writer, implied the
message that everything about dreams and ideals cannot be achieved easily, it
takes struggle and sacrifice to achieve them, and despair is only a barrier.
If
interpreted in real life, we must do good to our fellow human beings, and also
in this life we can benefit others, so that when we die we will be remembered
and remembered, whether it is in terms of our good.
7. The Biography
SapardiDjokoDamono,

D. CONCLUSION
It can be concluded
that, SapardiDjokoDamono clearly shows that immortality. Death is certain, but
even though the body and soul are gone, immortality will always exist through
goodness and beautiful work, that can be remembered by others. This poem also
shows an allegiance,SapardiDjokoDamono is able to give a message of love in
each verse of his poetry. In addition, the author also gives an implied
message, if you want others to remember you in a good way, then fight and show
some desperation in your dreams in this world. The only loyality that can be
shown is that the one who loves you will always be there for you, the one who
loves you will make you lasting forever in his heart. And those who come will
go home, as well as the live, in the end will return to eternity. Not much will
left except memories, not much will felt except sorrow, and not much will
brought except deeds.
